Cajun music is a large chunk of what I’ve played over the last decades. The Bone Tones and the New Riverside Ramblers recorded 7 albums of Cajun music, so I didn’t feel compelled to include a lot more in this collection. But I did want to include this tune, a personal anthem, from a treasured Balfa Brothers’ 45 rpm record. The 2020 pandemic scuttled recording it in a studio, so in quarantine-style, everyone recorded his part at home. There is a video of this recording on YouTube. (Search on Eric Mohring Cowboy Waltz)
